Gnome-Do Docky does have potential to become a great replacement for the panels in Gnome. Use a keystroke to open the search feature for quick access to installed applications and documents, or use it as a simple dock. I’ve made a little concept design on how I would like it to behave. It just needs to be a little bit more customizable before my idea is completely complete.
